Briefly explained
What is a Career Bite?
From the campus to Karlsruhe’s tech companies. Career Bites are short company visits held during your lunch break. In around two hours, you’ll visit a local company and gain an insight into day-to-day working life. You’ll meet staff, observe them at work and experience the company culture first-hand. The visit concludes with a light lunch and an opportunity to ask questions and have a discussion. It's an easy way to find out which company suits you, and to make initial contacts for your career start.
You can register via the events calendar.

Procedure
This is how your registration works
  • Register for your preferred Career Bite via the event calendar
  • On the day of the event, meet a KIT Career Service staff member and the other registered participants at the company entrance shortly before 12:00 p.m.
  • 12:00 noon: Career Bite begins: Short tour of the offices
  • Over a light lunch, you can network with employees, ask questions, and express your initial interest in vacant internship or graduate positions.
  • If interested, leave your contact information and then send your application materials to the company.

Remember: Our advisors are happy to review your documents and offer suggestions for improving your resume or cover letter.
