Stellenbeschreibung
Are you curious about how an initial research idea develops into a study that is presented at an international conference and ultimately published in a scientific journal?
At EnTechnon – Institute of Entrepreneurship, Technology Management and Innovation at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), we are looking for a motivated and intellectually curious Student Research Assistant (HiWi) who would like to become actively involved in our research activities. Our research operates at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, entrepreneurship and innovation, international business, organizational resilience, sustainability and energy transitions, and advanced research methodologies. We are particularly interested in understanding complex contemporary challenges and using rigorous empirical, conceptual, and increasingly AI-enabled approaches to address them. This position is intended to offer more than routine student-assistant work. We would like to give you meaningful exposure to the full research journey – from developing research questions and reviewing the scientific literature to working with data, conducting analyses, preparing manuscripts, engaging in academic debates, and communicating findings.Depending on your interests and skills, you may also have the opportunity to work with emerging approaches such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI-augmented systematic literature reviews, bibliometric methods, and quantitative or qualitative research tools. Our research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals including Business Strategy and the Environment, Review of Managerial Science, Management Review Quarterly, International Journal of Gender and Entrepreneurship, and Journal of Business Venturing Design. We especially welcome students who are curious, reliable, analytical, independent, and eager to learn. You do not need to arrive with expertise in every research method or software package. A genuine interest in research, willingness to develop new skills, and a careful approach to academic work are much more important. If you are considering a Master's thesis, PhD, research-oriented career, or simply want to understand how high-quality academic research is created, this position provides an opportunity to learn by contributing directly to ongoing research.Don't just read research. Learn how to create it.Das solltest du mitbringen
