Your responsibilities

As Technical Officer, you will coordinate our technical policy and standardisation work across a varied portfolio of technologies for air movement, air treatment and thermal management, in close cooperation with the relevant members and our technical team. You will:

−Manage and organise the relevant Product Groups, including planning work programmes, preparing agendas and supporting materials, facilitating member discussions, and ensuring follow-up on agreed actions and priorities.
−Monitor EU product legislation affecting the assigned product areas, including Ecodesign and related energy, environmental and market-access requirements, and assess their technical and practical implications.
−Draft technical analyses, position papers, arguments, presentations and speaking points, and represent these at stakeholder workshops, consultations, and meetings.
−Coordinate the development of industry guidelines, technical recommendations and pre-normative research projects, from initial scoping and member consultation through drafting, expert review and publication.
−Prepare briefings to inform members, consult views and opinions, drive consensus towards common positions.
−Liaise with relevant expert organisations, research institutions, and standardisation bodies.
